This limited edition release from Wild Turkey’s Russell’s Reserve lineup was originally intended to serve as an homage to Master Distiller Jimmy Russell for his presumptive retirement in 1998. The retirement never happened, so the whiskey was stashed away until its release 2015. The bourbon is simply magnificent with complex notes of baking spices, dark cherry and vanilla.
