Description
Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year Old 2021
Commonly referred to as Pappy 10 Year, this bottle is a fantastic entry point for those seeking their first sip of Pappy Van Winkle magic. The youngest of the impossibly allocated Van Winkle collection, Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year provides an otherworldly tasting experience. Each pour is jam-packed with notes of sweet vanilla, rich caramel, and aged wood. Its robust, nearly barrel-proof finish makes this bottle one of our most popular offerings year after year.
“A whiskey connoisseur’s bonanza…remarkable find…ranks with the best whiskies.”

Nick Anderson –
Very distinct candied cherry sweetness permeates the glass. There’s a creamy nose-feel with caramel, walnut, and confectioners sugar. Silky, creamy, candy sweetness all through this glass
The Whiskey Shelf –
Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year greets me with a lot of dark, rich, and musty honey, ripe cherry, orange, charred vanilla, toasted oak, cinnamon, and clove with hints of grain. There’s a lot of fragrant ripe fruits and wood spices.
Wolfe Tone –
Lovely bourbon with loads of oranges and leather. A very enjoyable experience
WhiskyLovingPianist –
A rich and robust bourbon with a pleasant mix of flavors. The notes of leather and oranges are particularly enjoyable.
Margarett Waterbury –
I didn’t expect this whiskey to be as fun as it was – fruity, sweet, full of life. It’s not the most complex bourbon I’ve ever tasted, but it is undoubtedly an enjoyable one.
Megan Alves –
On the palate it’s juicy and almost unctuous, with notes of sweet honey, soft tobacco, and caramel alongside a soft, quenching acidity like a ripe peach.
Whisky Monster –
It wasn’t the best whiskey I have ever tasted, also it wasn’t the richest. I can say that drinking was fun as whiskey showed different characters in the palate. I liked the chewiness, the rich and robust finish.
