Elliott Edge –
Nose is fantastic with oak and baking spices, but the palate felt thin. Worth trying for its educational value.
Craig Larsen –
Rich aroma with oak and vanilla notes; however, the palate lacks depth. It’s a solid option for those curious about older bourbons.
Marc Laplante –
The oak presence is strong, which may overwhelm some, but I found the sweetness a nice balance.
Scott Brown –
Very oaky with hints of cocoa and nutmeg. I enjoyed it but preferred the 24-year for a bit more complexity.
Matt Morton –
I found this one to be over-oaked and thin. Not as exciting as I had hoped.
Steven Welch –
A great educational bourbon, showcasing how older whiskey can be nuanced. The finish could be longer, though.
Jeff Vlk –
For the price, it’s good but doesn’t blow me away. Nice to have in the collection but not a daily drinker.
