Orphan Barrel Lost Prophet
Originally distilled in 1991 at the George T. Stagg (now Buffalo Trace) Distillery, the Lost Prophet 22 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon was aged in the Stitzel-Weller warehouses and bottled at George Dickel in Tennessee. The mash itself is unique, consisting of 15% Rye, 7-10% Barley, and 75-78% Corn, which closely resembles the high rye #2 mash bill used by Elmer T. Lee, and Blanton’s.

Orphan Barrel Lost Prophet 22 Year Old | 90.1 Proof
Kyle Farmer –
Smooth with complex flavors; the balance of oak and sweetness makes this a standout.
Frederic Dijols –
At 22 years, it offers an interesting mix of menthol and leather, making it unique.
Anthony Busciglio –
A rich bourbon that’s both engaging and easy-drinking. The finish is particularly memorable.
Moti Kc –
The nose is fantastic, but I found the flavors a bit muted for its age. Still a solid choice.
Wendell Jisa –
Good bourbon but overpriced for what it delivers. The oak dominates more than I’d like.
Mhyla Uy –
This is one of the best in the Orphan Barrel line; great balance with sweet notes.
