I didn’t expect this whiskey to be as fun as it was – fruity, sweet, full of life

I give the edge ever so slightly to a Lot B (might change nightly tho). The Abv works great here boosting the caramels and spices, in place of cherry I get red fruits and apple. Very viscous and has a great finish.

On the palate it’s juicy and almost unctuous, with notes of sweet honey, soft tobacco, and caramel alongside a soft, quenching acidity like a ripe peach.
Whisky Monster –
It wasn’t the best whiskey I have ever tasted, also it wasn’t the richest. I can say that drinking was fun as whiskey showed different characters in the palate.
Bourbon Culture –
Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year is the youngest (and probably most plentiful) version of all the Van Winkle’s. It’s bottled at 107 proof which is an homage to when 107 was referred to as ‘barrel proof’ for many brands.
