Elise Smith –
The rye spice is prominent, with notes of apricot and orange peel balancing the sweeter vanilla and caramel. The finish is medium with a hint of black licorice and black pepper. It’s subtle, but rewarding.
Jose Granados –
Bold rye flavors stand out, with mint, pumpernickel, and a surprising pineapple note on the nose. The sweetness gives a baked-goods vibe, with good oak structure on the palate. It’s simple but delicious!
Alex Cyriac –
Spicy yet smooth, with distinct notes of cinnamon, vanilla, and black pepper. It has a great balance of sweetness and spice, making it a must-have rye.
Ray Kim –
The 18 years of aging really bring out the oak and rye character. There’s a warmth, but it never overpowers the nuanced flavors of eucalyptus and mint.
Kim Snyder –
It’s a beautifully balanced rye with a fantastic depth of flavor. Mint, cinnamon, and vanilla mix with the rye spice for a complex yet approachable drink.
Grace Weingard –
An exceptional rye whiskey. The 18 years give it a distinct richness, with warm spices and a sweet, lingering finish.
Andrew Ashur –
A rare and elegant rye. It starts with a bold spice, transitions to a rich vanilla sweetness, and finishes with a dry, peppery kick.
