Got a bottle of Van Winkle 12 years Lot B, and it’s really good. I paired it with a cigar, and it was a perfect match. I managed to get it for $197, and it’s been one of my best pours.

The whiskey leans heavily into oak, giving it a distinct woodsy character. The finish, while a bit acidic, provides an interesting contrast with earthy, coffee-like notes. Not my top pick, but a unique experience.
