Dwight –
The 20-year edition has an incredible nose, with deep raisin, maple, and cherry notes. The palate is rich, buttery, and filled with fruit punch and cinnamon, making this my favorite Van Winkle offering. The oak is there but not overwhelming—just the right balance.
Ronnie –
The dark, spicy-sweet aroma, combined with deep vanilla, follows through in the taste. Medium to heavy body, with a smooth and lingering finish. Perfect for sipping on a cool night.
Gerald –
It’s a beautifully crafted bourbon, with a lovely balance of sweetness and oak. I enjoyed the notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and cherry, especially with the smooth finish. I can see why this is considered one of the best.
Gerald –
For me, the highlight of this bourbon was its amazing nose, which brought forward hints of cherry, vanilla, and oak. The palate followed through with a smooth, buttery finish that makes it one of the finest bourbons I’ve tried.
Dwayne –
A perfect after-dinner bourbon. Soft and delicious with its musty woodiness, fruity sweetness, and smooth leather finish. It’s a well-rounded bourbon that’s worth every penny.
Calvin Max –
The cherry and oak notes really stand out, but what makes this special is the balance it strikes between sweet fruit and spicy cinnamon. This is my favorite Van Winkle for its complexity.
Jonathan Hugh –
Its rich, buttery mouthfeel and smooth finish make it a perfect bourbon for sipping. The oak is there but never dominates, and the hints of fruit keep it interesting. Definitely worth the splurge.
