Eagle Rare 17 Year Old 2007 Release | 90 Proof
Denny Bouma –
Nice balance of wood and sweetness, though lacking the dark fruit punch of the 10-year version. Enjoyable but not worth the high price.
Gary Cook –
The woodiness stands out with hints of vanilla and burnt sugar. Not quite as bold as other BTAC releases, but still a pleasant sip.
Tucker Callaway –
Nose is interesting with crackers and baking spices. Palate is smooth, but the wood dominates too much for my liking.
Greg Greeley –
A solid bourbon with rich oak and vanilla notes, but falls short of being truly exceptional. Prefer other BTAC options.
Bill Updegraff –
I love the creaminess and oak flavors, but it lacks the fruity intensity I usually seek in Eagle Rare.
