Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Bourbon 2012 First Release
The first release of Angel’s Envy, appearing in 2012, helped pave the way to two now-dominant trends in American whiskey, wine-cask finishing and bottling at barrel strength. While it wasn’t the first in either category, it came out at the right time, and drinkers took notice. Only 600 bottles were produced.

Brian J. –
A masterpiece for its time. Though the finish might seem dry and woody to some, the history and craftsmanship shine through.
Shawn –
Rich and intense, with layers of dried fruit and spices. Adding a splash of water really opens up the oak and sweet brown sugar notes.
Tracy –
Incredibly smooth for such a high ABV. The honey and caramel balance perfectly with the cinnamon spiciness.
Ricardo –
A beautiful blend of tart raspberries and maple syrup on the palate. One of the best bourbon finishes I’ve experienced.
Marion –
Woody and leathery, with a boozy plum sweetness. This cask strength bourbon is a treat for connoisseur
Shane –
A powerhouse bourbon with rich notes of licorice and caramel, balanced by cinnamon and a hint of cedar.
Craig –
Impressive complexity. You get strong oak at first, followed by raspberries, honey, and just the right amount of spice.
Sergio –
A unique and bold bourbon, the 61.85% ABV packs a punch, but it remains incredibly well-balanced.
Hector –
Deep, earthy wood notes with sweet apricots and a long finish of caramel and brown sugar. Excellent for sipping.
